Welcome to the EasyTac online store! These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through this site.

By accessing this site, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Please do not continue to use this site if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions on this page.

Payments

You can pay using most credit or debit cards, via our secure payment processor (Stripe). Orders are processed in UK pounds (GBP) irrespective of the displayed currency.

Order acknowledgments

You should receive an automatic order acknowledgment by email shortly after you submit an order. If there are any queries relating to your order, we’ll contact you by phone or email.

Shipping costs

We ship from our own warehouse in the United Kingdom. Delivery fees are charged based upon the destination and size of your order.

Processing and dispatch times

We make all reasonable efforts to process and dispatch orders either on the same day as it is received, or the next business day, as long as all items are in stock, and our security checks have been completed successfully. We will contact you if there are any queries.

Transit times and tracking

This is the time taken to get an order to its destination after it has been dispatched by us. This varies depending on the destination but is typically 1 to 2 days for UK mainland shipments and 2 to 4 business days for international shipments. We generally use reliable couriers such as FedEx or UPS. You will be sent shipment tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Note that some outlying and hard to reach locations may take longer, and there may be additional customs delays that are outside of our control.

Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any losses incurred due to delay in delivery. The shipping services we offer are ‘Delivered At Place’ services (DAP Incoterm), and for destinations outside the UK may be subject to customs checks and additional tax/duties.

Customs duty

We have many years of experience shipping our products around the world and providing the necessary documentation to accompany international shipments.

For destinations outside the UK, shipments are subject to the usual international rules on customs duty. There may be a requirement to pay import duty before an order can be delivered – depending on the destination, value, country of manufacture, and local classification of products. Note that this is an additional cost that you must bear as an importer. In some cases, our shipping company may pay these charges on your behalf, and in this situation we reserve the right to charge any customs duties or local sales taxes incurred in this manner back to you.

The country of manufacture of most EasyTac products is the United Kingdom. Most of the items we sell are also covered by free trade agreements, however we cannot offer advice on individual tariffs or whether you will be liable in any particular instance.

Tax

Our business is based in the UK and complies with requirements for UK VAT. Depending on the country to which we are delivering the goods, your order will be taxed as follows:

Orders delivered within the UK

We always charge VAT at the prevailing UK rate on your total order value. We provide a VAT receipt/invoice with your goods, which you can use to reclaim the VAT if appropriate.

Orders delivered within Europe

Following the UK’s exit from the European Union, we no longer charge VAT on sales to Europe, and instead these transactions are zero rated and are treated as exports from the UK.

When you place your order with us, you will need to confirm your EORI number, if you have one, or your personal National ID number if not.

As the importer, you will have to pay VAT to the delivery courier at your local rate, plus any processing fees, unless you have made arrangements with your country’s tax office to defer this VAT and report it on your VAT return instead. If you are an EU VAT-registered business you can reclaim the VAT in the same way as with any purchase within the EU.

Returns and Cancellations

If an item is incorrect, damaged or faulty on arrival, or develops a fault covered by the warranty, we will, at our option, replace, repair or refund the purchase price of the item.

Items correctly supplied, can be returned and will be refunded, provided they are returned undamaged and in accordance with the terms below.

To return an item please inform us via email within 14 days of delivery, or for warranty returns within the warranty period, quoting your original order number and order date, and we’ll provide return instructions. Once you have received details of how to make a return, the return must be made within 14 days. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us, unless they arrived damaged, faulty or in error.

To cancel an order prior to dispatch, please first inform us via email that you wish to do so, quoting your original order number and order date. We’ll confirm if cancellation is possible and provide further instructions.
